Lalita Soma
Our Childcare Supervisor (& Superwoman!)
Hi! I’m Lalita and I’m the supervisor at Lyall Bay After School Care. I first came into this job after I had my fourth child back in 1997, and I have worked at Lyall Bay After School Care ever since! I have lived in Lyall Bay for over 30 years and I really enjoy the tight-knit community that I am a part of. I really love my job here, and I love seeing all the children and their families in and around Lyall Bay
Our Carers
Too many to name here...
We have a large group of carers to look after your children while at LBASC. All our carers have been police background checked, and have undertaken first aid and on-site training. It would require too much website upkeep to list the current group of carers here, but we love them all, and they love caring for the kids at LBASC.
We are always looking for new carers to help with our programme. We pay above minimum-wage, and all training and vetting is included. No experience necessary, but you must love caring for children. Please use the contact page if you would like more information, or to apply.

Our committee above is helped by a group of generous volunteer parents. If you are interested in joining us, please send us a message using the form on the contact page. A typical commitment from a parent helper is to attend one committee meeting a month. It's a great way to meet other parents and be involved in the local Lyall Bay community.
