Our Programme
Lyall Bay After School Care is open to children attending Lyall Bay School, or siblings of these children who are currently attending Evans Bay Intermediate School (EBIS) who have previously attended Lyall Bay School. We operate Monday to Friday on all school days of the year, which can be found on the Lyall Bay School website here. We run from 3pm-6pm, and we accept bookings on a regular or casual basis.
We operate from the main hall of Lyall Bay School, where we host indoor activities. We also have access to the two large outdoor play areas of the school. Children are supervised by our trained and vetted carers, with a ratio of no more than 10 children per staff member, so your children are always well supervised.
Our daily programme includes a snack (children can choose sandwiches, fruit a biscuit etc.), and we offer lots of activities to keep the little ones engaged and happy while they are here. We discourage the use of electronic games while then children are at after school care, we would rather they put their energy into our activities.
A typical session starts with roll call at 3pm, followed by snacks, then games and activities. You can pickup your child anytime during the session, with last pickup at 6pm sharp.

Fees
We charge $18.50 per child per session. We are certified to accept Work and Income payments for eligible families. We believe that we are one of the cheapest OSCAR approved child care facilities in the Eastern Bays, as we are set up as a non profit making cooperative.
